I'll concede on the first bit (I did not know that- Would be nice to have the LODs + less decimated character select vers uploaded as well)

But I don't get what you're talking about with the lighting. I'm fairly sure the game doesn't include the lighting in its textures, and, am also pretty sure they arent included all just in 1 png (i get it's for efficiency, but having them unedited would be appreciated)

They aren't edits. The models from before were ripped from the rom by hand and I missed the lighting. They were also the models from the character select screen. These are the gameplay models, which are even more decimated. I wrote a dedicated tool to get them, so I was able to include the baked lighting.

I'm trying to phrase this calmly as i'm not sure of the circumstances of these new rips or what happened with them but:

Why are the new character rips seemingly LOD?
Why do they have baked lighting?? this, as far as i'm aware, is not how the ripped textures look and is an edit on your part
It's kind of weird to edit textures and then submit them as if they are official content

Having seen the video on this game's prototype models i find it funny how the final ones look more like early models than the actual prototype's. Sure i get they were scaled down for the hardware and programing reasons but still it's wild!
