It doesn't quite help their case saying models have issues when Mario/Dr. Mario both have broken rigs, but are uploaded just fine. Seems prettyyyyy biased if you ask me. Sad. :v

The bias is that Min Min came with new Splatoon content, while Plant and Joker were released in patches that included balance changes for Inkling.
Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, and Byleth did neither of these things.

Oh yes of course, King Dedede, Olimar, Ridley, R.O.B., surely the biggest twinks in Smash Ultimate.

I guess the requirements for getting a model from this game posted nowadays is "must be kind of sexy."

@Litpeople549 Well, I believe it takes quite a bit to rip a model, so it'll probably take a bit to rip a DLC fighter or any other model from Smash Ultimate

for those who thought Spring Man was going to be the ARMS fighter, he's already an assist trophy. of course it's not gonna be him.

I've noticed that on neither of the smash pages (4 and Ultimate) there's no Mii Fighters. Is it even possible to rip them? Because they have default models you can unlock in game which aren't on the system so is it possible to rip those? Not requesting just genuinely curious.

Nobody rips DLC fighters? Oh well. (I am not requesting)

@Dah-Nae They are technically models but they are rendered completely flat by default, rather than being fully 3D and then flattened.

@ninetalesommander I know... I've been on the forum and know how 3D works basicly only sadly. Some people send the non-converted files that they dumped from the game itself. Converting these format are very hard for anybody including me except the ones who knows how to convert them and share how. And fixing the model and uv maps if there is some issues during the convertion. And then try to extract the roughness map and normal map and others correctly is hard and not that shared. I can't do anything myself except using the tutorial and WorldBlender's addon I mensionned earlier. If it was someone else saying that working on these models are not that difficult, you wouldn't shout on him/her like you did tome @ninetalescommander (if I'm not mistaken that it was an aggresive message or a message sended to someone who talks about something he didn't know). I already saw here someone talking about working on models and upload them here wasn't that hard to people that don't stop requesting models. It's not that difficulty if you know how to do it or have maybe the ressources to do it. I can't myself, I can have the models, using thet textures that had been already shared, animate them, but I can't fix the bones missing weight painting and having a clean normal map without the ink on it. You can call me crazy and too kind like some people said to me or intelligent or too good and lovely like some others said, but you can't call me stupid. I am normally never agressive to anyone like a free cookie ready to be disgested. I want respect and goodness to me and everyone else and no bad behaviors.

Ripping Models is not difficult? It's only not difficult if someone out there took the time to actually figuring out how to do it and then layered out the process to the community like what RTB does. I can assure you it becomes very difficult if you're trying to rip from a game that has had next-to-no research and testing put into it.

No, not really. The Hero's models have been available now for almost a year. Even I've had them on my drives for months.

@rundas2 and @all Ripping models is not difficult at all, you just have to have the ressources and some little knowledge in 3D (except if you don't know the basics in 3D, which I think would be weird due to the fact that it's a 3D model bank here, by the way you can find many tutorials on youtube if you wan't). Here's the forum where people talked about ripping Smash models and textures, how to rip them and repair them to make them acceptable to model-ressource. The only thing I don't know is how to convert and find the normal texture and roughtness, etc. https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-34836.html You can also go to the 2nd or 3rd pages (right here you see our messages, not the link that I re-shared) to search someones who sended a youtube video tutorial of how you can extract these to blender. WorldBlender made also a plugin for Blender 2.79 (not update for 2.8) to be able to import in blender models and animation from .numdlb and the other one format file which I don't remember the name for the animation.

Considering DQ Hero uses 4 separate models for each of his alternate looks, he's probably going to be one of the more difficult rips if not the most difficult.

If I'm not mistaken, Mr. Game and Watch uses the same model as he did in smash 4, but in ultimate they gave him a bunch of new transformations on moves like down smash and judge. Are those move specific poses special models or sprites?
