I really don't get why they had to wipe Black Yoshi, which was easily the most acclaimed Yoshi alt - no, the most acclaimed alt in general. I personally think that Crafted Yoshi does look pretty cute (at least in the artwork), but they definitely could've chosen another color to replace. Perhaps Purple Yoshi should've gone, as that was the most underutilized of the Yoshi colors.

Sorry if this is a super stupid question, I want to use this model for reference and such since I'm still fairly new with Blender. How can I make the iris texture show up on the eyes? Also, are the many eye/eyelid/mouth meshes intentional? Thanks in advance, and again sorry for asking a possibly simple question

@MinecraftGamerLR I agree with you in so many ways. He's supposed to be smooth, not leathery. And I really hated his design in that horrible Mario movie.
@DogToon64 Agreed. Yoshi looks leathery, in which that should not be the case. Trust me, I've studied the anatomy of a Yoshi, and they have a smooth skin, but this is a little leathery for a Yoshi. Sure, skin IS leather, but at the same time, this is too leathery. Let's hope to the gods that they don't make him scaley like an actual dinosaur like in the horrible SMB movie.
That's weird, I never remembered him being "leathery", is it the picture, or is that how the model is? I swear Yoshi looks more smoother in the game than this picture
