When exporting textures, make sure you export as .dds to ensure the maps aren't transparent, then convert them to .png. Normal Maps will need you to change the Blue channel of the image from "Zero" to "Blue" inside Switch Toolbox, then you export the fixed normal maps as .png

@RyTEM05 are the normal maps green for you? if so then it wasnt ripped correctly. i made the same mistake

I have ripped the game and want to contribute some models here but I have one small issue, Whenever applying a .nrm texture it messes up with how the model gets shaded???? Like if I apply lighting, all of it will just go inside the model.

I would recommend submitting models as soon as possible due to the amount of time of takes for models to be checked usually. This page is an outlier because most of the models here were submitted/approved by a staff member who can approve their own submissions.

It could take several months before your first model is approved, if it is approved at all. Then it would likely take several months for the next models to be approved.

just cancelled the splattershot because I want my lovely bamboo to be the first approved main weapon of splatoon 3. will add it back once bamboo is approved

@jcactus Please, don’t do that. Use a MixRGB and put the TCL into the Fac and put the ALB into color 1 then set the color you want in color 2. @IntoTheLight take the TCL texture and plug it into the subsurface input(?), then change the color with subsurface color! This should work
I'm new to blender, too, but is relatively simple once you learn it!
