@A Smurf: It depends on how many other models submissions there are and when they were submitted. Lucky for you, the Splatoon 3 models are at the top of the list, so it shouldn't be long before they get processed.

Anyone know how long models are pending? I'm looking for some weapon rips that are currently pending
mb if it's listed in a FAQ somewhere, I couldn't find one

Yea I can't find anywhere how to use squidnodes, I understand that it makes shading the characters much easier but I am not sure where to place each. Edit: I'm dumb, I think I know now but if there is a guide out there that would still be handy.

what's squidnodes?

@dan1209 are you looking for them or wanting to share them

Would it be allowed to share a google drive link with the Inkling/Octoling animation (.SMD) files?

Wooooo! Clothes! Hoping we get a good batch of weapons soon!

@azazelmao That salmon actually pops out during the death animation, but it's kinda hard to see from all the effects and everything - image from toolbox here.

ok but what is that salmon in the mudmouth image..

Clothes! Let's go!

aw yeah!!! clothes!!!!

i cant wait until january when all the models get approved

Alrighty! Here's the folder with everything: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1_yGfp5BOkl7SzpQ8ohBucTq7Di6-RQpb

There's definitley some room for iteration, but this is just a simple way of throwing it all together. Let me know if there's any issues! ^^

yes that would be awesome. my current shader looks decent and all but i know i didn't use some stuffs correctly

i made some custom textures for mine, I can find a file that has him and share it, if you'd like (I only did it for the classic hair, though)

it's less of a "solution" and more juts an easier work-around, but it get's the job done well enough for me lol

anybody have the shader for the lil buddy hair? i cant get mine to work

@OsFortyTwo Heya! Squidnodes creator here. As Ryen said, the QuickHair shader is only designed for the standard tentacle materials, not the fur materials. However, I'm pretty close to cracking the fuzz shaders, so that'll probably form part of the next Squidnodes update. Hope that helped :D

@OsFortyTwo the "quickhair" means the default tentacle hair that octolings/inklings have, not the "fuzzy hair" that the fuzzy octarians/octolings have have.
The way I've found to at least get the layering is using POM nodes (which also I'd recommend using external nodes, as blender doesn't natively support it without a lot of nodes...). I'd recommend looking at the way I set it up on Spoiler:Mr. Grizz (with a combination of Jasper's stuff) for ideas/a base to work on. Just ignore the multimask stuff, as that's exclusive to that model unless there's some vertex coloring, in which case use that instead of the multimask stuff.

Slight update, looks like Squidnodes does have support for the hair, according to the changelog.
