@LukeTheLPSWolf certainly if you don't think its hard work you'd do it yourself wouldn't you?

Verivik Jun 16, 2020 7:19 PM

@Petie, how do you got about ripping models from video games? Especially from a console game like Animal Crossing?

Greatgamer7 Jun 16, 2020 6:55 PM

@LukeTheLPSWolf If it's so easy, why don't you stop requesting and complaining and actually rip them yourself? If you can't do that, you certainly don't have the right to criticize or complain.

"hard work"

LukeTheLPSWolf Jun 15, 2020 1:27 PM

Yea fr! I am so appreciative of this site and all of its team working hard on the models! I was just wondering of an update or if any news was heard about it! With 86 models currently pending I bet the team is hard at work and especially stressed trying to approve them all. I know i'm just another user on this site, but if there is any way I could help just let me know! Thank you for all your hard work!

Rarol Jun 14, 2020 9:35 PM

Thank you so much to all the site admins, mods, and staff who work hard to create, improve, and maintain this wonderful community

Verivik Jun 12, 2020 5:23 PM

Shoutout to the admins and mods for putting so much work into making this site as good as it is.

@Some_Dude: Even sprite submissions can take more than a week to be processed, and models take way longer to process than sprites. To give you some context, I spent all of my free time this past week just to finish processing the remaining 2019 submissions.

@Weirdkid_12: Nope, there's just hundreds and hundreds of parts for them due to all the clothing options, so ripping them would be a huge undertaking.

Sorry if I'm bothering ya'll by commenting this, but perhaps the player models get tied to save data rather than game files. I believe I saw that happen in another game once. Anyway, to those of you talking about player models, that is my theory.

Weirdkid_12 Jun 8, 2020 2:32 PM

i hope they have time to approve these

BaconMan Jun 8, 2020 12:20 PM

The approval has been taking so long. I know you are all busy, but.. Over a week? I apologize if this is seen as rude, but im pretty sure someone has to get around to this soon.

Some_Dude Jun 8, 2020 7:22 AM

Strange how the new models aren't available despite the last update being for so long.

KirbyDreamLand Jun 7, 2020 9:10 PM

Ooh! I'm pumped for Centrixe's octopus model. I've been making renders and poses for each of my dream villagers with hopes to make 3D printed amiibo of them!
But I gotta get a 3D printer first, oof. I uploaded a model to Shapeways and it cost $100 to print an Amiibo sized model. Don't wanna pay $1000 for dream villager amiibo.

Nefnoj Jun 7, 2020 8:11 PM

i honestly just want to experiment with making new hairstyles for the player characters. that and maybe clothes and accessories. my secret fantasy is that nintendo will let us modify meshes and textures for the actual game, but since that is likely not to happen, it's just fun to fantasize.

Reitanna Jun 6, 2020 8:28 PM

@LukeTheLPSWolf, Rarol and anyone else complaining: Keep in mind that the staff have lives outside of the site, and it's safe to say that the current situation has been very demoralizing. Please continue to be patient for the time being, it'll be done when it's done.
