That's what I was referring to. The texture looping is caused by those textures repeating instead of clamping. Set the affected textures' wrapping mode to Clamp and they should display correctly.
not the transparency thing, the textures loop in certain spots and i cant get over it

Some of the textures on his face use clamping, which can't be preserved in the exported model. You'll need to set those textures to Clamp manually.
doesnt look like it in preview, but the stache, eyes, and sideburn aren't displayed properly

Gonna upload a revision soon to try and fix this, not sure how it happened but considering this was ripped before the site upgrade I think something happened during the transfer...
Either way, gonna re-rip this with newer tools along with the Medium and Low LOD models so that it's on-par with Peardian's rips.

i find it amusing that this model consistently tops the monthly popular model list despite not being linked elsewhere on the front page. I get it's iconic but like, that means enough new people are coming here specifically for this model every month to outdo whatever the most popular new models are any given month that get traffic from the front page. Also you'd think other Mario models would enjoy similar attention but nope it's only this one
