@FroggoTheDoggo & @EmRuHire: i have shown everyhting needed for extraction.

I just forgot about this 3ds max script.

@EmRuHire he uses 3DSMax, his BFRES importer MaxScript, a BNTX extractor, embed extractor, and Noesis (this is just assumption from how I've been ripping them myself).

@Random Talking Bush: What program do you use to extract these models & sprites?

@MisterMike and @Machow8 the Ruined Kingdom dragon is called BossRaid if you want to have a look for yourselves.

Oops, forgot to mention last night that I'd also updated practically every Mario model, plus Luigi's (not the unused one though), as it was pointed out to me that the right glove had inverted polygons on two of the bumps. That's been fixed now.

@Doc von Schmeltwick: who wanna help must provide some first.

It's him who wanna the model of that boss, so, he provide me it's japanese name and i'll search in files i ripped.

Added the Baseball and Satellaview outfits now.

@SpaceAnimal: You're in no position to ask that kinda question, considering most of your comments were requests, and you haven't even attempted to submit anything yourself. Models take time to rip properly, and if you can't wait for others to do so, try doing so yourself.

Well I imagine there'd be a lot of extraction, compiling, checking that everything is correct, and with complex models like with this game, that'd take a while, no?

Why does it take so long to upload the models?

Anyways, what MarioWiki could use a rip of is Bitefrost, which will be filed under "Gabuzō" or some such thing. It didn't have Prima artwork apparently, so we're stuck with screenshots of it for now as our images....

@Machow8 Look on MarioWiki, all the SMO "Names in other languages" sections are full at the bottoms of their respective pages.

@MisterMike: if you can tell me it's japanese name, i can take a look about that (since all game files are named in japanese - example: Warp Pipe is Dokan, in japanese).

@alteredillusion: What you'll need:

- .xci file of the game (good luck finding one, since it's illegal to share it);

- Hactool program;

- A bunch of switch keys (master key, package key and so on - note: they are copyrighted, so, no one here can share them without getting banned);

- BFRES Embedded Files Extractor program;

- BFRES_TexDump program;

- BNTX Extractor v0.4 (or newer) program;

- Noesis program (this is to convert .dds files to png, so, you'll be able to upload your ripped files on this site);

- SARCExtract v0.5 (or newer) program;

- A full_keyset.txt which contains all switch keys inside of the hactool folder;

Some useful codes for use with hactool program (note: change paths to be accurate with ones on your pc, or code will fail badly):

- hactool -k E:\SMO\full_keyset.txt -txci E:\SMO\SMO.xci --outdir E:\SMO\SMO_NCA

- hactool -k E:\SMO\full_keyset.txt -tnca E:\SMO\nca\secure\08c1d23a902a841b497f7be217c8ad6d.nca --romfsdir E:\SMO\SMO_romfs

Little tutorial for those who know how to use cmd (so, can be used to rip all files needed):

Put hactool on your C: Drive somewhere.

Put the odyssey XCI which you have extracted into the root of the Hactool folder.

Now open CMD and type cd C://[insert directory]/Hactool
then
hactool -k E:\SMO\full_keyset.txt -txci E:\SMO\SMO.xci --outdir E:\SMO\SMO_NCA
then
hactool -k E:\SMO\full_keyset.txt -tnca E:\SMO\nca\secure\08c1d23a902a841b497f7be217c8ad6d.nca --romfsdir E:\SMO\SMO_romfs

and now you have your files!
