hes becoming real

I figured it out nvm

Yesterday when I was importing the Mario_OpenCollada.dae into blender, the model imports with his face and eyes on the y axis, but the rest of it is on the z axis. Also Mario had, for some reason, a smaller poly count on his feet. Is there a difference between this other two models for him (Mario.fbx and Mario.smd)? Will someone help me out?

for some really odd reason, his eyes are black in blender due to shadow being cast onto mario's eyes, how do you fix it?

Really hope someone tries putting this in Ultimate.

@MiniMoar you have to pose the face using the armature.

Those textures on the second model are noticeably different.

Mario: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Is there any way I could render Mario in blender with a face without an open mouth? Or change the face plates? I want to find his different expressions on him.

is there an .fbx or .smd file for all it's animations? I badly need them please

Would it be a request if I asked what the tri count is on this model?

Captain Cap texture looks like crap. Maybe alpha issues.

Actually Mario's "Hack Start" model is an earlier version of Mario's model. You can tell by the textures of the model and the overalls.

Dang, these look really gooood

How are these renders achieved? I would really like to know how you mapped this and lit it.

@Enderlucario: Because I'd decided to upload them all as sets, and the Captain's Hat is technically paired with Mario's default outfit, kinda like how the Boxers, Hakama, and Skeleton suits. It wouldn't make much sense to have the hat just by itself.
And the Invisibility cap doesn't have a model, it just makes whatever outfit you're wearing completely invisible, with Mario's default cap.

Why is the Captains hat with basic Mario rather than being in its own slot with the Captains hat and Mario's normal shirt and pants? Also would the invisibility cap be its own model or just a variant of this?

@GuyWithThePie: It's the one used for the cutscene when you first throw your cap onto a frog, and is listed as "HackStart" internally (with "Hack" being the internal name for the game's Cap-ture mechanic).
