@ExoDendrite yeah

@inflames14: Nope. If there was, wouldn't you think news would've spread about it like wildfire considering the game's been picked clean at this point?

Isn't Luigi playable in the disk version?

OMG I SAW WEEGEE YESTERDAY HERE!!!!1!! (Obviously joke)

Only rip from your copy of the actual game. Not from some illegal leaked files.

"When is Luigi going to be ripped?"
The wise words of someone who can't be assed to know the rules.

@Lucario2023: No! Read the room!

Can someone pls upload the unused Luigi model

does anyone actually know a good way to rip these? Of course there's people who do just look at the models right there but no one really shared how they did it and I am quite curious on how I could rip these myself.

okay so big notice for all of the model resource convo readers yeah uhhh im not some special person who ripped the models with some godlike knowledge i just used quad64 dae export https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pSYR91UiMVKnP3PyvJiCdwRF5wNS_nZzMe-r2WPQUJk/edit
see this document it is good. anybody can rip the models in seconds its ridiculously easy, very similar to how you rip models of sm64 ds but requiring the use of noesis (something i really hope the people running this site know about)
i didnt rip every model because some were utter shite like whomps and LITERALLY rainbow ride is nothingness because this tool splits the objects from the base model into various files (without armatures i believe) and rainbow ride is all objects besides like 4 triangles or something. better rips are possible, i also didnt know how to fanangle the tool to do area 2 models at the time. I would finish what I have but i have other romhacking stuff to do (like models from star road, dm me on twitter or something if you want them)
it is also possible to get actually good models using fast64 to get actually accurate models of the various enemies instead of the laughably bad models that are present here that were probably edited with sketchup (as a sketchup user myself i can confirm that i am abhorrent and that this is abhorrent) as well as the level models with objects in place with armature. would require any user who wants the models to install fast64 in order to have the textures show up properly (that guy is right in being sus that the textures had a lot of color bits as all but a few outliers use 16 color bits (RGBA16)) as fast64 materials show stuff accurately to n64 in blender which is very needed for any textures that are clamped or triangles that dont have a texture and are just colors like most of yoshi. anyway essay over hackersm64 and fast64 are good and that document is mostly good but lacks some rennovation (theres an effort to get a hacking wiki up but its going a bit slow) and uhhh yeah eat my shorts or something.

@jofo91: All textures are converted to PNG images, which can have any color. If the textures were kept in their original Nintendo 64 binary format, nobody would be able to use them.

The models are the originals? or a scanner with program? I saw for exemple that textures are 34 colour bits and it's a lot of colour

i know that nothing of the leaks will not been submitted but there's a leaked mario from a older title screen as seen here (its a link because youtube didn't load it correctly):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTvTo2zwCCQ&t=25s&ab_channel=64History
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTvTo2zwCCQ&t=25s&ab_channel=64History

@DJ_Fox11: Ah. I didn't know it was found in the leak; I thought it was left in the retail game's data.

@inflames14: Luigi is not going to be submitted at all. As RTB has said countless times, nothing from the leaks will be submitted.

What about Luigi?

Who's here after Suigi broke the world record for the most perfect speedrun of SM64?

@SmashBrosFan137: Of course they can be ripped, plenty of people have done so already and the decompilation project makes it incredibly easy to do so.

I'm shocked that Sounds can't be ripped from this aside Models, like aren't they rippable at some point?

They're taking their time. Approving submissions takes a long time.
