@WeegeeMEME, LukeTheLPSWolf, and everyone else complaining: If only you guys knew how difficult it is for The Models Resource's staff to look over all of these model submissions in the first place (for the record, a single model can take several minutes to check over!). Knowing that without fail, every single time we try to make progress on the queue's pending submissions, we always get another truckload dumped on us immediately afterwards -- we've been struggling to get the pending submissions down to less than 2,500 for the past few months, in the past 24 hours alone we've gotten 118 new submissions and we've only managed to go through 36...! And having all these complaints directed at us for taking so long or constantly posting requests despite our pleas (mainly mine, considering how often I've had to say it)... You're not helping, you're just lowering our morale even further.
I'm honestly getting sick and tired of all the negativity in the community recently, it's almost like the staff are not allowed to spend our free time on what we want to do, that we should instead slave away at model submissions for the rest of our lives. Is that what you guys want? For us to be miserable?

Every copy of Mario 64 is personalized.

@NTSC Master: Most other game entries on the site follow the same general pattern of organization -- Playable Characters, Non-Playable Characters, Enemies, Bosses, Items, Stages, Miscellaneous.

Why does Mario get his own section instead of just a character section?

@bluedogz162: ...Not really, it's going to be about the same considering the content is identical and the N64 version could already be easily dumped.

Ripping is definitely gonna speed up now due to the native PC Port.

Alright Here my second attempt with low poly Mario since it was a edited texture with him. Now here it is with the original textures with him and a edited texture

you need a Gameshark code to enter level select. there is no intended way to enter that screen otherwise. therefore it definitely counts as unused.

the debug menu (level select) title isn't really unused, using cheat codes you can go there and you can see the title there.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT MULTIPLE TEXTURES ON ONE MODEL THAT ISN'T DIVIDED TO MULTIPLE SECTIONS???!!!

I ripped out low poly Mario since there is no model for him hopefully he get's approved

using rom manager to rip enemy and object models is an option

@Xinus23 Would you mind if I asked about what better ways you are referring to? I've been attempting to look into ripping models from this game in particular, but all I've come across is a bunch of sites talking about the Nemu64 method. If you'd be able to point me towards a more stable method, it would be a huge help.

why was Blargg Unused?

I feel like nearly the entirety of this page needs to be remade. i don't even know why these are considered rips and not customs. the texture work on stage models is unfaithful and terrible. and a lot of these models were ripped using the outdated Nemu64 plugin method which i don't think is really needed anymore for a game like Mario64 considering there are much better ways.

MIPS IS BACK

YAY WE HAVE MIPS!

@Doc von Schmeltwick because everything on N64 needs to be in a face. to be shown in the screen. look at Mischief Makers. It is a 2D Game, but when you use "Wireframe" mode, it is just alot of faces with Tris...

surprised nobody's made custom textures for the untextured Blargg, since he's used in many hacks, including Mario 64 Maker (well maybe that's because there's no custom/edited section on texture's resource ya dingus!)
(BTW, I don't mean to be backseat modding, IDK if this counts as that, but I thought I'd be clear that I don't mean to be)
