that's lame.

@itzben48: Many places, but not here.

Question; if modded games are not permitted on Models Resource, where can I find them?

@Peardian is this also the case in melee

I am gonna try and rip the skeleton models

@Peardian Well I mean, there's plenty of games where existing pre-renders are unaccounted for here (looking at you, HWL), but I suppose Smash tends to get a lot of focus. Just wanted to be sure, thanks.

@Doc von Schmeltwick: Yes, it's just the fighter models in a pose. This is the N64 we're talking about, where models are simple and textures have size limits. Using pre-rendered images of every fighter in every costume would waste a bunch of space and look blurry. Why do that when they can just pop in the actual model? Besides, you know this community would have ripped all the pre-rendered sprites long ago if they existed.

@Peardian So, for clarification, the still images of characters seen in the "VS" screen are not images at all, but full gameplay models rendered in real-time?

@SuperSign64 LOL

@FPAnim
i think they mean they are literally just the ingame fighter models.
Also they could just mean that because they are prerendered they could be in the spriters

@Peardian I did.

@FPAnim: They have already been ripped, just scroll up.

Is it possible to rip intro models or are they just pre-rendered?

man i hope they upload their models. theyre rad as hell.

@lelanbkeeton: The developers of Project M themselves submitted their models to the site as Custom / Edited. Maybe the models should be reorganized into their own respective series pages, but the important distinction is that they were submitted by the artists that created them. If the artists from the Smash Remix project want to submit their own models to the site as customs, we would be happy to accept them.

oh yes it is. you have to look in the custom section.

then could you explain why project m is on this site?

Ripping from a modded version of the game is kinda stupid imo

@Maiky N.O.

Why do some models don't have their textures ripped?
