There's a fitting irony in a series created by a known psycho who has made no secret of his hatred / raging hard on for transgender people in particular that the final boss in the last game he ultimately had no input over ends up being some sort of unintentional absurdist analogy for the latter. It makes it even funnier when you remember that earthworms are biological hermaphrodites.
