Condensing the back of the kart and converting the handlebar into something of a spoiler/utility bar is actually kinda genius. I could see this working for the Red/Green Fire, Toad/Toadette Kart and the Parade Kart too.

This is literally Bowser's signature kart in Double Dash. You can even see the platform at the back where the partner stands.
