I just noticed. There's an odd amount of face textures for these models. Was Nintendo planning on having them become some sorta Wii U mascots? Cuz like... During the transfer, these guys are very unemotive. At most they blink? Yet there are a LOT of unused assets for the faces?

I had my dad call Nintendo a long time ago and they actually have a species name. The species name is Sopik. I'm not making this up. That's the actual name of the species associated with the Wii U to Wii U transfer.
