🎵 'Cause I'm gonna show you... "How It's Done, Done, Done!" 🎵 ~ HUNTRIX.

Welcome to the first post-redesign update, folks! This change has been a long time comin', huh? (Model viewer, my beloved...) My favourite part of this new iteration has gotta be how cozy the layout feels. It has the vibes of a retro handheld UI while still feeling wonderfully fresh and modern. And don't even get me started on the new tagging system – tags have been in the works for years and they're finally here! I know change can be a little hard for some, though, so I had asked Petie to include a "Classic" theme. If you find yourself still missing that soft 2010s pastel look, why not try out Classic at the bottom of the page? Personally, I tend to switch between all three palettes. It's healthy to experiment with new things, y'know!

Interestingly, this month's model haul seems to fit into one of two categories: Horror, or Whimsy. The biggest contenders have to be Grim Fandango, Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, Bikkuriman Kanjuku Haou, Legacy of Kain, and a mega mashup of several Resident Evil games spanning across different consoles! Shout-out to Boxy, man. They've been on one heck of a roll with RE lately. On the more colourful side of things, we've got To Love-Ru Trouble, Goat Simulator, HarmoKnight, How To Train Your Dragon, Disney Magic Kingdoms, and Dragon Quest Tact. And hey, keep an eye out on HarmoKnight; there may be a lot more coming next month! Last but not least, matymatiasmaty's latest update to Rosalina (Early Concept Art) is of absolute fabulous quality. Tenna (Final Fantasy 7-Style) is a pleasant surprise, too – like, who woulda thunk?! Demox, of course! Be sure to check out the other customs while you're at it, as there's plenty of other goodies to see!

Submitters, here's a tip from me: if you have questions regarding the resources or would like some ripping help, come join us on our official server! We have channels dedicated to each resource, threads for more in-depth help, and a feedback channel for any suggestions you may have for the sites. And of course, general channels for people to simply hang out in and chat about their day. A site revamp is a big change for all of us, and it can certainly feel overwhelming at first. For a full in-depth look at what's changed and all of the snazzy new features, check out our announcement video on ; narrated by Dazz himself!

Just think, "What would dodos do?" Stay Fresh, and stay Off the Hook!

Okay, thank you! I will try to add as much info to the readme.txt as humanly possible. XD

Blender files are only allowed for custom models. If you have created a complex material setup for the model, you can provide a screenshot of the setup, or (better yet) write a guide on how to create it. That way, even people without Blender can follow the instructions.

I believe it's fine to include them as additional files but the submission must still include at least one of the required file types.

Edit: Ah, yes, Peardian is right. I forgot it was custom-only.

Thank you! Also, I believe someone asked this a long time ago, but I'm just curious: Will we be able to add .Blend files into the submissions? It'd be really helpful for models that require materials that are more complex than just a texture.

(Things I have submitted, or plan to, that would benefit from this are: Eyes & skin on Pokémon Scarlet/Violet models, and pallet town from LGPE.)
I would hope for this in the future, as It could benefit everyone. Unless the file size on servers would be too much?

That's definitely why you're not seeing the full layout the. I can't remember the cutoff but the desktop view wasn't designed with screen that small in mind.

I have a weird set up honestly. My monitor isn't a monitor at all, it is actually an TV, from 2017 that is 1360 x 768, funny thing is, that's its max resolution! XD

I'm working on upgrading my PC soon, hopefully. (Then I'll get to the monitor.)

It's not a bug. The margins just automatically disappear on smaller screens to give the content area a bit more room to breathe. What resolution is your monitor?

honestly, my only complaint is I don't see the Mario mushroom designs unless I zoom out on my browser by 80% to 70%. that's not exactly criticism from me, and more of a bug report. LOL

Lovely work. I'm loving all the changes done!. The previews are very nice to have on this portion of the sites in particular. downloading assets just to see different views isn't a needed thing anymore ^^

I like this shade of blue for the model's resource, what hexcode is it? (I know i'm weird.)

There is probably a middle ground t be found by just having the number beside the icons, but I'm not getting hung up on this, it's fine.

The asset itself now being at the top while all the extra details are at the bottom makes way more sense. The content should be the priority and what you immediately see first upon clicking on it. I’m glad for the change!

We actually went back and forth on this a few times during development. In the end, we wanted to prioritize the asset itself and left the info beneath it which we felt worked better, especially on mobile. There is a button at the very top that brings you directly down to the comments if that helps though.

Something I miss from old layout was that with the Asset Info on the top, you could tell how big a model was and if there were comments on it right away. Now you have to scroll down more than if you wanted to see the full image on the old version just for that information.

That looks to me like it is caused by an extension you have installed, not on our side.

about the new site:
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: resource://gre/modules/Extensi…ccd00/lib/libs/extended-css.js:1995

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: chrome://global/content/bindings/resizer.xml:32"

"Stop Script?" = Yes

the above cause an almost half minute freeze of the site on each page load.
