Gotchatroid Battle Royale
We're still chugging through the mountain of 3300+ submissions, so we appreciate everyone's patience. I'm going to be very busy this month, but I'll still try my best to get as many models checked as I can. To those of you who submitted models and are waiting on them, I recommend double-checking the submission guidelines to make sure your submission is good. Did you provide decent transparent icons? Did you include all of the model's textures? Did you check for issues with the latest version of the Model Checker Tool? Checking for these issues now will help speed up the review process and may even save your model from being rejected!
Anyway, enjoy!

@Peardian and @Monika thanks guys. Yall are so nice =3
Thanks so much! That’s not too bad at all, about where my reasonable hopes were, and now my worst fears are put to rest. I had no way to guess their position previously, because I joined after most of them were submitted. Thanks again, I’m super excited about those models!
@Enoch: A little over 1100. It will still be a while.
Could you tell me about how many models you have left in the queue till you get to the Tears of the Kingdom models? (I know of no way to check for myself). It’s been a few months since the game came out, so I can’t help but hope that we’re getting close… If you can’t tell me I understand, just thought I’d ask.
@Noah the Garryfish (and everyone in general): A request is still a request, even if you try to hide it by making indirect statements. If you are clever enough to think of an indirect way to phrase the request, we are clever enough to detect it.
The comment box says right there in the placeholder text that requests are not allowed, and yet many people request anyway. We see these kinds of comments all the time:
• Can someone rip ___?
• Please rip ___
• Give me ___
• I want ___
• We need ___
• Where is ___?
• Where can I find ___?
• What about ___?
• ___?
• No ___?
• Why is there no ___?
• When will ___ be ripped?
• ___ when?
• I don't see ___ here
• I can't find ___ here
• How is ___ not here?
• I hope someone rips ___
• I was hoping ___ was here
• ___ is missing
• Now all we need is ___
• The lack of ___ is sad
• We don't have any ___
• Someone should rip ___
• I would love to see ___ here
• I'm surprised ___ is not here
• I'm disappointed ___ is not here
• I wish ___ was here
• If only ___ was here
• I wonder if ___ will be ripped
• I'm waiting for someone to rip ___
• I can't wait for ___
• Do you plan to rip ___?
• Does anybody have plans to rip ___?
• Is anybody ripping ___?
• Will you rip ___?
• Will anybody rip ___?
There are all requests, varying from polite to rude and direct to sneaky.
@Noah the Garryfish: Before you reply, please note that this is not intended to be a personal attack against you. I am writing this in hopes to explain the rule to anyone who may not fully understand it or think they can sneak around it.

@Noah the Garryfish: I would rip the models if I had the game. you might be able to find them elsewhere
@Noah the Garryfish: We don't allow requests in the comments. Saying "Where be the Garten of Banban models?" is an indirect (and rude) way of requesting.
I'm sorry. I'm just angry because it feels like I can't do anything right on this site. I'm not perfect, guys. I've only been on here for a few months and I don't have any model/sprite ripping software, tools, apps, etc. To use. I just wish this site wasn't so strict. Please bear with me guys.
Again I'm sorry for getting mad like this. I'm not perfect.

Damn it people! I've been trying to say I WISH we had Garten of Banban models on here!!! I'm really mad that you know-it-alls keep deleting my comments! >:(
Then i have no idea how to fix the queue issue of it growing exponentially with no end in sight.
@Dark_Ansem: The idea sounds simple on the surface, but once you dig into the details, you realize it's not really feasible.
For starters, how do know the user's opinion on the model is trustworthy? Some users are fine with any model as long as they can make use of it, even if the UVs are wrong and most of the textures are resized JPGs. Meanwhile, other users will complain about any OBJ-only submission because it lacks bones. Then there are the new users who don't know how models work and think a model is broken because they haven't yet figured out how Blender works. On top of all that, there are often technical issues that most people wouldn't think to check that nobody would mention. Without knowing the knowledge and preferences of every user who participates, their feedback is not meaningful enough to serve as a substitute for a staff review.
Next, consider the issue of who would be able to participate. Everyone? If anybody can download and review the pending model, it's not really pending anymore. It's just on the site for everyone to see with a warning that the quality isn't verified. And if people only care about getting a hold of the model, most people won't even bother leaving feedback unless there is something really wrong. And that's if people even look at the model. Unless someone goes out of their way to review every new model, stuff from obscure shovelware games will go untouched. Only the popular games/models benefit from this system.
So, we'd need to have a set of people whose skill and opinion we can trust enough to review the pending models, people with the will and free time to review both popular and unpopular models alike. That's... the description of a staff member.

It is when properly marked but that's the problem with exposing the queue to the public. Members can't mark submissions as NSFW so they'd be visible until staff could get to them. On top of that, with unfiltered content shown to the public, there's the potential for malicious users to intentionally upload inappropriate content. By locking the pending list to just staff, all of those problems go away.
NSFW content is allowed?
Yes really, because the purpose of the submission queue is to prevent bad submissions, including ones that may contain malicious files or NSFW material, from being seen on the site at all.
Not really, because "unapproved" models wouldn't make the cut, in the end.
Allowing public access to pending submissions defeats the entire purpose of the submission queue. What we really need is additional qualified staff but finding people with the knowledge and time along with the willingness to donate that time is much harder than most people realize.
You could always allow some users to download the pending models and check em
