Animations only work with the correct models, and having a website solely for animations without the models is pointless.
I hope they make an animations resource place cuz man I struggle to find anything with animations
First of all, why are you replying to a comment that has nothing to do with your inquiry? Secondly, animations are not mandatory for submissions, and are almost always more difficult to extract than the models themselves. Approximately 1% (if even that) of the uploads on this site have animations included as well -- instead of spamming every Sonic model asking if they have animations like you did (and I cleaned up) earlier, just assume they don't. This is "The Models Resource" after all, not "The Animations Resource".
Why can't u just add the animations? People mostly want the animations in the model.
"Ow."

@TheWGD It doesn't have rigging for me either
@LeonidaselXD: It's short for "StudioMDL Data", and it's a format used primarily for compiling into Source Engine games (especially Garry's Mod or Source Filmmaker).
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Studiomdl_Data
It's a format that can also be imported in programs such as 3DS Max and Blender via external plugins, and supports bone structures and rigging just like FBX/DAE does. I also include .SMD format models alongside my own uploads for that reason.

@Random Talking Bush: what would be a .smd?
@TheWGD: Both the DAE and SMD files have rigging for me.
I'm confused is this rigged or not?
update: its not

What does Sonic_Event.zip do?
Nice quality.

Well this Sonic model and its animations is basically similar to Sonic Colors
@JetTheFox96 Remastered Unleashed
Remastered Sonic Colors model
Oh I thought it didnt bc not all people in this place submit them. It's just models only..
@JetTheFox96 If the model is an .fbx that contains animations, then yes it'll be here. I don't know what you're complaining about.
tMR doesnt support animations. I dont know why
