Unfortunately I know nothing about how any of this works so I can’t really help. I’m very thankful that you’re doing all this though and can’t wait to see the models finally get uploaded. Good luck!
Hey guys. I know you all want to see plenty of models from this game, and with the help of aytimothy, I was able to rip them. (not stages yet, though)
Only problem is, only some .dds files (textures) are able to be opened by Paint.net or rendered by Blender. Almost all of them can't be. If any of you would know any possible fixes, please tell. I'll definitely upload the models to here once I get the textures working.

I'd like to see the parts for all the avatar species models since the wispons are already here and also I'd like to see the Phantom Ruby Prototype that the Custom Hero finds in Luminous Forest

@Robro They don't have bones in the game files either. They only have a single bone that the whole weapon painted to. AFAIK, it's used to align it to the player's hand.

You know what? "It's time for a change of pace!" We need people working on this. As far as I'm aware, this isn't an extremely hard process, given the right tools. I would do it myself, but I only have this game on console. So we need someone to do this!

Can someone rip Chaos
The models submitted for the wispons are quite in need of an update. Their model type is specified as obj, which means they lack bone structures. As well, their normal map textures are inverted in color.

Just to let you all know, someone on Steam has recently ripped all of the boss models from this game as MDL files. I’m not sure how difficult it would be both technically with changing the file types and also in terms of crediting the original ripper but I’m sure someone here could transfer those models from Steam to The Models Resource.
Um.. There's a bajillion (a lot of, basically) avatar parts. Doing the same thing over and over isn't fun.
Also, can't just script it because all parts have different offsets, so you can't merge the bones and expect it to look alright.

Although I’d still love to see any progress on the Death Egg Robot’s model, something else I’d really want would be the Egg Mobile used in cutscenes and at the start of the Egg Dragoon boss fight. Is there any info at all on those three models being added soon?

What stinks is that this game marked the first modern incarnation of Chaos 0 and Metal Sonic (not counting Sonic 4)
