@blackroo1967 firstly, Bendy is hated in the FHFIF staff, and secondly, i'm not sure what to say about Gengar
epictheroy3, you're certainly right. Grizzbolt is Raichu's very distant cousin
It looks like a lot of things but not enough like any one thing where I would say in a vaccum "Oh they definitely used this as a reference".
@blackroo1967 It's more of My Neighbor Totoro, having a bit of Electabuzz (only for the electric lightning bolt design motifs) and having the mischievous grin of Gengar.

Raichu's very DISTANT cousin
It wasn't just the staff of the show who hated Bendy, it was pretty much everyone who watched the show hated him and he never received any form of consequences during his first and only appearance in said episode.
Pretty much the reason why this Pal is compared to him is that it comes off as a spiteful and pretentious though I don't think Bendy was pretentious...
