You know, despite its problems, scummy micro transactions, and other BS this game was plagued with, it could've been a good game. It had some good ideas, but the execution was not what people hoped. Even I wanted this game to be good. But, mismanagement, mishandling, greed, ego, and corporate meddling can kill the joy of making anything good. I'm not sure if the fan projects of the game are still at work. But, whatever happens happens. Though if it was up to me, I would work on a Subspace Emissary style story plot for a "would-be" Adventure Mode. Think of all of the cool action plots it could have! But, that's just wishful thinking in my part.

There will always be a very vocal minority rallying for any game that dares to even unintentionally present itself as a "rival" to a major game that dominates its genre. The same thing happens with The Sims and any simulation games that come out mirroring its core functions - it doesn't mean you have to take those opinions to heart and let them dictate how you feel about either one. You yourself are listing the flaws in those people's arguments; the game was fresh, new, and needed time to grow. Of course it couldn't compare yet!

I get it, both have their own qualities, but when it came out, there was this thing that frustrated me, people called it the Smash killer, people said they hated Smash with a burning passion, or argued that smash bros was a terrible game now compared to this out of a sudden, when it was just a Beta, and then defended any criticism saying "the game is a passion project" But then the roster felt like an ad for recent or future Warner bros. projects, and the microtransactions.


Smash was a complete game, with a roster full of iconic characters. Multiversus was still a beta and it was overhyped, and the initial roster was not worth a crossover.

Yuck, don't be sore winners or whatever. Both games are good in their own right.

I recently found the textures (only) for Gandalf and was wondering if I should upload them to this game page as Unused OR Do I upload it to the spriters resource (and make a multiversus page) as an Unused texture set?

If this game's shutdown, does that not stop model ripping?

@BluCoolKnux Same. I wouldn't play the game as much if I had the models at him, but I'm not sure how to acquire them yet. If I did have them, I would edit the Rowdyruff Boys' models to make em' look like how they did in their Season 1 first appearance.

The only reason I started playing this game was for the Powerpuff Girls update. Just to find out they were going to be part of a battle pass I couldn't even get in time before the season ended completely shut me down.
Now I just want the models of the PPG and RRB from this game, because they're actually so well-made.

@Mario9919 The moderators are swamped with uploads for a lot of different games, I myself have ripped about 60 models and have been waiting since the start of august for my models to be accepted. Are there plans to add the recently added characters?

I'm working on uploading the other characters as well as their variants/costumes starting with Superman.

Update 1 / 20/09/24: I've finished uploading the Superman models as well as Agent Smith and now I've started with the Wonder Woman models. (Although I am having trouble finding the Quintessence variant included in this seasons battlepass).

Update 2 / 15/10/2024: After brute-forcing my way through the game files for almost a month, I have finally found the Wonder Woman (Quintessence) model. I don't want to do it again, but I'll have to when season 4 comes out.

@SmashBrosFan137 it is possible (using UModel), the bad is the specific place, probably Ninja Ripper can do this. But the game has Easy Anti-cheat
