@Jasper7438 I forgot and mixed up which models used color masking and ones that actually use vertex coloring.
Though I think the pets, items, and locations would be the ones to make the importing process tough when the models are being imported to a program that doesn't do that kind of stuff like Blender can.

The animal models in ajpw use color masking [using red/green/blue or RGB textures] for their colors and not vertex coloring. Though some pets and items do make use of vertex coloring; it is used in some den items/clothing and is heavily used in coloring environments.
For the ambient occlusion [alpha1 texture], just put that as the top layer and set it to multiply [this adds shadowing detail to the model, which is important in ajpw where the shaders are mostly unlit]
The "detail" textures are just textures I included to be paired with the "detailMask" textures to make the shading setup more obvious. I only included them with models that had elements that don't change color with the patterns [like pink ears/paws, noses, etc..], these "detail" textures are just the original texture with the transparency removed.
It is kind of a pain to use the textures outside of a program like blender... which is why I had to separate all the texture channels and bake any vertex coloring for those people that would need them!

I've came up with a method if it isn't possible to import a model with vertex coloring. It involves using paint programs that have layer mask like Paint SAI and Photoshop for coloring the textures, I'll test this out on Paint SAI to see if it can work.
Edit: I've realized that "Wolf_Pattern_00_HQ_detail" is the texture used when I was previewing the model in 3D Viewer, not "Wolf_Pattern_00_HQ", which I had to edit the other one so it can be seen in the program. Here's how the edited texture in use:

I didn't bother to edit the eye textures and as a result of that, the wolf looks like they've got some severe eye problems going on.

@Jasper7438 So that means I'm correct (and I can see Juno the Arctic Wolf Alpha is used as an example for the texture change.)
Yeah, she's just an arctic wolf, she uses pattern #6 [the fire like pattern] and eye type #2 with eyelashes [the one with off center, large pupil]
If those textures are changed, it will change the appearance of player arctic wolves and also affect leilani

It also happens that the item "double tail" is reused from the arctic wolf model and uses a smaller version of the default arctic wolf texture

@Jasper7438 Question, I believe it's obvious that Leilani (The Arctic Wolf NPC from Moku'ahi that offers trades) reuses the Arctic Wolf avatar and isn't a unique model of it's own, am I correct?
@Cavan Ashton I remember it's AJ Classic in that video he made, not Play Wild.
I've noticed the AJ series in general isn't so mainstream... (Maybe it's for the best it stays that way)
Also fun fact: WildWorks, the developers of this game and the original Animal Jam, were formally known as Smart Bomb Interactive who developed Pac-Man World Rally, Snoopy and the Red Baron, Snoopy Flying Ace, and Bee Movie Game.

The only way how i know Animal Jam, is because of Chadtronic's video of it.
Mobile and PC use the same models.
There's a hq/lq [for high/low quality] version of each model. I believe mobile defaults to these lower res versions for every animal/pet that isn't the player.
They are used in the PC version too, but not as much.

@SpritZ Oh well, if there's an archived .apk file of the game itself, I'll rip them myself once I have a computer compatible for Blender.
I'm a player of Neopets so I'm familiar with it, but unfortunately, I don't have a mobile device to play Island Builders, so I would have to gather information on the characters present within that game.

@DigitalDiamal Yes, that is what I meant regarding the games made by WildWorks. I only have PC versions of those games currently, and while I used to play this game on Mobile back when it first came out in 2015-2017 (?), I have since deleted it off of my device, unfortunately.
I am familiar with Neopets a tiny bit, but I'm not too into virtual pet games. The game you mentioned sounds interesting, but unfortunately I won't be able to rip that as ripping mobile games is a bit harder than ripping PC games. I hope someone rips that game for you someday, though!

@SpritZ Jasper ripped all of these from the PC version, not mobile, though I'm sure they're the same.
Though I'm curious, are you familiar with Neopets? There's a mobile game named Neopets: Island Builders, I'm sure that game runs on Unity and I want the models from that game to be ripped if it ever closes down.

@DigitalDiamal I don't think I've ever seen such a large submission like this before, so it really surprised me to see this stuff! I'll keep in mind what you said regarding Jasper, thanks.
I have atleast one, maybe two older builds of this game, but I doubt that they'd have much of anything different as they're not from too terribly long ago. I also have a build of Feral from when it first released, so if anyone wants those for ripping or looking through then feel free to let me know.

@SpritZ This game runs on Unity by the way. If you want ripping help, ask Jasper through PMs, he'll tell you how.
And no, there has never been any Animal Jam rips within this site till now.
Actually, there is, but it was only texture rips of the Penguin and the Pet Rockhopper Penguin. I seem to have forgotten about this.

WOAH, WHAT ON EARTH?!
I just went to The Models Resource to check the recent submissions, only to see a HUGE slew of Animal Jam: Play Wild! content here. Did all of this just get approved, or have there been models from this game on this site before?
I've waited so long to see rips of this game on this site, and now we finally have them. Thank you so much!! (^∀^●)ノシ
May I ask how these were ripped? I've looked through the VG Resource's forums before and there have been mentions of programs being able to rip Unity assets, but I'm not sure if the same goes for this game or not.

@Jasper7438 Oh so that's why I didn't see the Eagle and Ili Pika present here.
I'm pretty happy to see these approved at last! The first model [wolf] was submitted all the way back in late January.
Only 3 got rejected [Ili Pika, Eagle, and bridge phantom]. I put each model in the model checker and they turned up fine. I guess I'll have to see what went wrong with them.

Thank you very much for your hard work Jasperkins! I'm also happy to seen the Phantoms among the Animals got ripped.
I'm downloading all of these models and saving them somewhere, if something goes wrong.
Update: All of it is done.

The vertex color is what would really complicate the conversion. For some stuff, the vertex color is used very sparingly and the missing color can be filled in or baked into a texture easily, but some items and pretty much all of the environments, there is little regard given to uv mapping because vertex colors don't use uv maps, so one would have to heavily alter the uv maps for 100+ environmental meshes [for just one area] and even then you'd probably end up with shoddy results.
