yeah and they just found out how to make a hitbox have a uv map
Minecraft "Models are stored as textures and are loaded in like how cardboard mc figures are, they basically wrap around a hitbox for an entity. luckily since the mobs are now in smash they can have proper models
with how the Creeper was born that could be why they don't have model files
I’m guessing it’s because Minecraft doesn’t use “models”, at least not in a traditional format. In the game they have a weird way of being stored that isn’t a 3D model at all
Honestly, with how simple they are and how easy it is to mod the game (at least Java Edition), I wonder why the Minecraft models haven't been ripped really.
I never thought I'd ever see an Enderman model on The Models Resource, I'm glad that we have one now. :)
