It's also a balance thing of sorts; the difference is so subtle that it's harder to identify during the heat of battle, so it's more likely to be picked up.
@Dolphman It was dull colored spots first, since in the FDS SMB2(LL) it was a normal Mushroom with the Goomba palette.
I wish it was still purple with skulls instead of spots.
In past games, the models were the same. But here in the future, we can have individually-modeled eyebrows without worrying about performance issues.
The Super Mushroom doesn't have eyebrows.
@MarioBros442 Nope, its a separate model. The Super Mushroom is referred to as "mushroom" in the game files. This one is referred to as "mushd" instead
Is this the same model as the normal Mushroom, just with different textures?
