@Taylor F I found it just looks better with the fur off. Using fur like that is great for a rasterized renderer, but when simulating real light through ray tracing, it's better to try making a hair system instead and learning to work with and groom... that.

I generally try to get things looking right in EEVEE first, but that's mainly because I'm more familiar with it now.

The textures seem a bit strange. For example, I'll set the body texture as the body texture, and the fur texture as the fur texture, I go back, and both the fur and the body have the fur texture.
