WALUIGI FOR SMASH BROS 6 FOREVER
@FreddyMario2010 Yes, that likely does mean Waluigi exists in the canon Mario universe, but considering it's just an outfit likely included for fanservice (or possibly for consistency, since Luigi and Wario outfits also exist) and nothing else, with the descriptions even poking fun at Waluigi's limited appearances, I think my point still stands. Also don't forget the combination of the W Emblem and L Emblem in Paper Mario: TTYD.
@ExoDendrite I unfortunately agree with you, but isn't Waluigi technically canon because his outfit appears in Mario odyssey? meaning that his character exists just we haven't seen him yet.

if he were a smash character I imagine he'd represent all the spin-off games like mario sports, kart and party
Be mad at @Ultimate3DSMan all you want, but sadly... I think he has a point. Waluigi has only ever appeared in spin-off games, and every Smash fighter from the Mario series has been in a main-line game at one point, which are the canon ones, so it's obvious that Nintendo doesn't like him too much. In fact, Waluigi wasn't even made by Nintendo themselves. He was made by Camelot as a solution to Wario not having a doubles partner for Mario Tennis, and ever since, Nintendo has kinda been treating Waluigi like an adopted child that they want to kick out, but they can't legally.

@Ultimate3DSMan in the Mario universe, it doesn't matter what is canon and what isn't, plus, Smash Bros. is not canon to any of the franchises that appear on it, even Sakurai said that.

just remove the right hand, duplicate the left hand and move it to the right arm.
