update - changing from version 3.1.0 to 4.2.0 didn't changee anything besides eye texture.

- eyes are magenta
- hair and head visual clipping, i can see the other side of the head through the side i'm supposed to be seeing
- additionally, specifically the head textures are incredibly metallic despite being just as metallic as the rest of the body.
do you guys think it's because of my blender version? i'll check and see if that's the case, but i have a feeling its some hokey shader shenanigans.

Does anybody know why the normal map of the eyes causes a black dot on the bottom right?

hey how do i access the ripped leggings?- I cant find the file in the "btm" folder anywhere

@BlockyStar it might just use the already present gradient overlays on the tentacles (as can most easily be seen on the tips) but just alter the settings to make them more visible

so unfair that octolings only get 8 hair styles total,.,..

does anybody know how to give them a kind of :0 expression

@jibanyaninewels I think what the difference between scattering and transmission is that Scattering is used during Splatfests and Transmission is used everywhere else. That would help to explain why they look so different.

I love playing as the Octoling soooo much.

I updated the pastebin link with all the color data for the skin tones, including TRM, base color, thickness, and scattering (idk what scattering translates to, but i included it anyways because it was already there) so here's the link again, this time with all the color info and not just a single value per skin tone https://pastebin.com/DBTHVLW5

just wondering how do i color/texture the hair and skin? and how do i attach hair, shoes, a shirt or a hat to the model?

@_mizm_ In the shading workspace, click on "Add", then "Search", then search "Image Texture".

@Jasper7438 Hi! I watched the video that you sent, but when you went to shading there was an extra box that said image texture. I couldn't find that one. Could you tell me how you got there (sorry, I'm super new to this stuff)? Thank you.

Does anyone happen to have the HEX codes associated with the skin color of the models? I am looking for the two new skin tones introduced in Splatoon 3, but I can only find the ones for Splatoon 2.
