Yea fr! I am so appreciative of this site and all of its team working hard on the models! I was just wondering of an update or if any news was heard about it! With 86 models currently pending I bet the team is hard at work and especially stressed trying to approve them all. I know i'm just another user on this site, but if there is any way I could help just let me know! Thank you for all your hard work!

@Some_Dude: Even sprite submissions can take more than a week to be processed, and models take way longer to process than sprites. To give you some context, I spent all of my free time this past week just to finish processing the remaining 2019 submissions.

@Weirdkid_12: Nope, there's just hundreds and hundreds of parts for them due to all the clothing options, so ripping them would be a huge undertaking.

Sorry if I'm bothering ya'll by commenting this, but perhaps the player models get tied to save data rather than game files. I believe I saw that happen in another game once. Anyway, to those of you talking about player models, that is my theory.

Ooh! I'm pumped for Centrixe's octopus model. I've been making renders and poses for each of my dream villagers with hopes to make 3D printed amiibo of them!
But I gotta get a 3D printer first, oof. I uploaded a model to Shapeways and it cost $100 to print an Amiibo sized model. Don't wanna pay $1000 for dream villager amiibo.

i honestly just want to experiment with making new hairstyles for the player characters. that and maybe clothes and accessories. my secret fantasy is that nintendo will let us modify meshes and textures for the actual game, but since that is likely not to happen, it's just fun to fantasize.
