doesn't mario have a ton of animations? like the default one where all the bones face positive X or smth
Yep! Mario's model in SM64 is the same size as it is in later mainline 3D games, though the game models store their vertices per-unit rather than having any decimal numbers to work with, so they cheat by storing model data at 4 times their intended size and scaling them back down in-engine to their intended size. Mario here is at his actual in-game size for reference
