not really considering smash wasnt really concerned about the competitive aspect of the game and was purely supposed to be more of a party game. i honestly think that the only reason they were selectable in melee is because it would be kinda neat to see the stages that youd think were exclusive to the single player modes as an option in regular matches
Will always be weird how this and battlefield weren't made accessible in versus..
