I thought they were joking about the cocomelon movie. Why must this be an real and official thing!?
Being released under the DreamWorks label? Yes.
Actually being produced by DreamWorks? No. Prime Focus/Flywheel Media are the production companies, with DNEG doing the animation. Why Universal's deciding to release it under the DreamWorks label is unknown.

What do you MEAN that DreamWorks (as in, the same people that brought us classics like The Prince of Egypt, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) of all studios is making a Cocomelon movie?! That legitimately sounds like the punchline to an April Fool's Day joke.

So apparently dreamworks (out of all studios) is making a movie of this slop, gives me another excuse to rip from this game.
