I miss when they made trophies from the ground up to represent subjects that were originally 2D, like this Thwomp based on the SMB3 sprite (or using promo-quality 64 era models when applicable). They only really did that in Melee, maybe a few one-off cases in Brawl, but stopped completely in Smash 4 (which meant no M&L trophies sadly)
Honestly, I have no idea why they haven't use this design for awhile
