Another Update?
If there is a way to have these models ripped with rigs, why haven't they been replaced? Not attacking anyone, just curious.
@tyleto: This model was ripped a little over a decade ago, before ripping models from Melee with rigging was possible. Either way, you're also using the word "redundant" incorrectly, as that would imply there is a rigged model already available here (which there isn't).
why would you ever submit a model thats supposed to have weights as an .obj? this is a completely redundant upload.

blender sucks honestly in my opinion, but how do people have so many textures for 1 model!!
I remember watching a gmod video that included this model, specifically, a scene where Mario is in a car with another character and he tells him "I'm not gay man" while looking angry, I wish I remember the name, but it's escaping me right now.
I like this Mario model, but why the model looks strange in this preview?
