All the characters that are from this game and are also in Mario Kart WII use the same character models so if you want MKDD character models yall can also check that game. But in other news, cool to see Mario's Kart got here, cant wait for the other ones!

Koopa Paratroopa is an unpopular character and I'm surprise that he's in here rather than Mario or Yoshi or even Waluigi.

@RandomTalkingBush Eh... Birdo's model is different in MKDD compared to MKWii; I think it's in the bow mainly.

@Stary_Thwomp: It's most likely because we have the majority ripped from Mario Kart Wii, since they're more or less the same models from Double Dash in the first place.

Mario from Mario Kart Wii has 372 verts, while the Mario from NSMBDS has 1,026 verts.
So no, they are not the same models. (I don't have the other models for comparison.)

Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. DS all use different character models.

Reason that there's no more character rips is because this game uses the same character models as MKWii, SM64DS and NSMBDS as far as I know. Just to let anyone know.
