How could a Game Boy Advance game can import 3D models?
The Game Boy Advance is actually very different to the SNES (and in a lot of ways, it's much more powerful). It can even (just barely) emulate the SNES with no extra hardware.
So apparently the Game Boy Advance was very similar to the SNES.
Apparently the American Idol GBA game may also use models? From what I've seen at least.

Looks like we got a new GBA game on pending submissions. That game being Asterix & Obelix XXL
If it does get approved, then we would have 2 games.
And it turns out Asterix & Obelix XXL is actually a fully 3D GBA Game, which is impressive for the GBA.

For those who want to know of more 3D GBA games with actual 3D models, Minimme made a good video documenting the vast majority of them and made a spreadsheet of every one he could find that used actual 3D.
And I want to remind that the TMR could post the Asterix & Obelix XXL levels, as they are in 3d and are awesome for the GBA
