this game really surprised me at how the DS managed to handle this game

@SuperDumbMario2: Why don't you help contribute, then? I'm sure people would appreciate it.

I cannot belive there's so low number of rips for a DS game with tools to rip!

It's probably nearly if not actually identical to the NSMB one if put together properly.

I have 2 meshes of Peach that aren't cut in half, but the textures are broken..

@Peaches'85 For some reason, Princess Peach\Toadstool's model is cut in half. There's no way to export it.

I remember seeing a pending model of Princess Toadstool, But Now it's gone

@Leo Plays YT Luigi is already ripped in NSMB. Besides, even if you did rip Luigi it would get rejected, because it's already ripped. You don't need to rip Luigi.

I'm gonna try ripping Luigi's model, because i already have his textures

the issues with the models is that you need to flip the uvs and a few have to be manually fixed

I remember a friend from school gave me this game :D

no, nsmb and sm64 ds do use different player models. the fists are different. sm64 ds also has a lower poly count so why can't the models be uploaded?
also, i'm trying to upload both high and low poly peach models at the moment.

nvm i just realized i'm too dumb to know how to rip models

i'm gonna try to rip the rec room

Correction regarding Mario and Luigi's models between SM64DS and NSMB: They ARE different, both the textures and the models themselves for that matter.
SM64DS uses lower poly models in-game compared to the models used in NSMB for Big Mario and Luigi, though there is a Mini-Game specific model for Mario in SM64DS' files that's higher poly, the in-game models are a fair bit different from NSMB and Luigi has a more major difference regarding his body texture's arrangement between the games.
Yoshi's model that's submitted here is also not his in-game model either, it's his Mini-Game model as well, his actual in-game model comes with more eye textures, has different mappings for his textures, has a "full mouth" head and rigged jaw and tongue for his regular head, and also has alternate color schemes for Vs. Mode included in his palette.
I plan to submit some revisions/uploads for the correct models for everything when I find the time, it's not too hard now with SM64DSE being able to access the game's files a bit more in-depth, though I figured I'd write this here since some were misinformed about SM64DS' models.

@aroohwahoou Actually looking at development images, they area the same map models just with tweeks made to them to give it a more modern athstatic, comparing footage between games it's even more obvious.

@MarioFan2324 Mario and Luigi's models are the same as in New Super Mario Bros, you can find them there.

When Will Mario Be Added?

@piggi5x not even remotely lol
Castle areas in their own section and the levels in their own section
