didnt crash my chromebook loking at it for 3 seconds
well this was designed to be rendered and look as smooth as a Nintendo promo render. the subdivisions in the blender file can be decreased as you see fit and that's also why i included an un-subdivided dae (even though it looks really rough). i never got any lag when viewing the preview model, other than it taking a bit longer to load but to be fair i'm not looking at it on my phone. there's plenty of models on here that are large enough to lag even on my pc but still have previews so i didn't see that as a priority concern. all of my recent models have used subdivision liberally until i'm satisfied with how they look, and blender files + both applied and unapplied .dae to account for those who need to decrease the subdivision. the lower you go the less i can guarantee it'll look good though.
the reason for the heavy subdivision on the face is less for the face itself and more for the eyelashes (the black part around the eyes). that is lower poly than the rest, but it needs to be part of the same mesh object for the eye shape keys to work properly.
testing on mobile, the preview model takes longer to load but doesn't lag once loaded, unless i select wireframe mode. i can look into revising it but i tend to be hyperaware of when imperfections start to show.

I was using the preview feature on models resource

they might be talking about preview in browser. why is it supported for this, it's so absurdly high poly it makes my phone lag when i click on wireframe view
EDIT: holy shit dude looking at the blender file now, this is 966K faces and 1.93 million tris. some parts have subdivision level 2, while the face has subdivision LEVEL 5. the twin tails on her hair are also set to level 5, so they have 188k tris. i was wondering why small objects like the cleats on the bottom of her shoes have absurdly dense polygons. yeah might've been a bit overkill

what program are you using? i think this model is best used on Blender or a comparable 3D software on PC.
Model so high poly it crashed my iPad
This should have a same treatment for the other original characters of Mario Golf for N64, along with Neil & Ella from Mario Golf: Advance Tour.
If they ever make a Mario Golf for Switch 2, I hope they put her in it....though it's more than likely that WON'T happen.
This looks so official
Any plans on doing any of the other 64 cast members? (Charlie, Sonny, Harry, and Maple)? I'd love to see them, though I'm not requesting you get to work making them. I'm content with Plum.
