I've made a few models in Blockbench before. It can be used for general lowpoly stuff, as the app can export what you make as other 3D formats like FBX and OBJ.

But from I've experienced, Blender already does everything it can do and more, so I think most people use Blockbench solely for Minecraft stuff.

Blockbench is a 3D modeling program focused on low-poly models. I recommend looking it up.
