i dont know what was my issue
@Ramene not sure about him dying but he was certainly a very random addition to the movie with no real build up. "This dog follows you on an adventure to save the princess you have a crush on. Lol jk, he's actually a human and engaged to Peach though we never hinted at it and he never appears in any other story/game" Nani?? In my head canon, he's Princess Daisy's brother (he comes from the Flower Kingdom which sounds like it could be Sarasaland) and he was engaged to Peach but died at some point, which is why Peach can be seen wearing a (engagement) ring in Sunshine and Smash Bros
