Sep 21, 2025 7:00 AM ItzSynth007 Game: Pokémon Scarlet / Violet prompt_suggestion Hey, yeah, so turns out it is a HUGE pain in the rear to get the models to be truly "game accurate". I have spent over 5-6 hours on shading nodes alone, most of which have been the eyeballs. You need to utilize the lym and nrm .png files included in the rips unless I'm just overcomplicating it. It's basically a bunch of "non-color" color space texture nodes. And if this sounds like gibberish to you, it's because it pretty much is. I know many people don't like using AI, but ChatGPT came in HUGE clutch teaching me this, and I'm glad I actually learned. Doubt there's a tutorial specifically on this problem, but this is something that will take time to figure out and plenty of attempts to memorize it.

TL;DR It's a long, complicated process involving image texture nodes with the lym and msk image texture nodes. ChatGPT is your greatest friend here if you want to understand the specific problems you need to solve with 3D Shader editing.

If you're looking for a simple cheat, I recommend just learning how to export a UV map, importing or transferring it to a paint software (preferably transfer to your phone and use something like IbisPaint or Sketchbook), and paint your own eye texture. However, this of course is less accurate and more just "Guesswork and customize your own eye." Wonder if these models just have the eyes baked in already...that would have saved me a lot of time. If anyone has any better idea, PLEASE inform me.
