The real problem is that when I use the .obj file, weight painting it is a pain, since there seems to be multiple Layton's merged together. What's worse is that if I export the file, the mesh loses pieces, which looks like Layton was shattered like glass ans was attempted to be put back together. The .dae file doesn't break apart, but for some odd reason, the textures don't appear correctly, and trying to add weight paints is annoying as the .obj.

Jun 30, 2016 12:19 PM Julian0555 Game: Animal Crossing: New Leaf @Volvion If you enable alpha on the textures in blender they look fine but when the alpha is not enabled it dosent look good. Also I have two problems with the Cyrus model, 1 There are two different levels of alpha, one for the neck and one for the bow and stuff so Texture Remix does not work for it and 2 The Eye and bow UV need to be mirrored correctly
Jun 30, 2016 4:35 AM Volvion Game: Animal Crossing: New Leaf @Julian0555 Because they are, in their normal state, pretty useless, because just the AC-Engine can use them. Use TextureRemix made by Peardian. TextureRemix takes a texture and splits it to the normal texture and the specular texture.

Frankly a lot of companies would probably do it this way.

Jun 29, 2016 4:30 AM Volvion Game: Animal Crossing: New Leaf @Julian0555 Yes, they do. But I used EveryFileExplorer to export the models, not Ohana3Ds, therefore they looked messed up to me. If you want, you can export the model and the textures, edit them in Texture Remix, put them into a .zip file and upload it here :)
