Personality wise I don't doubt theres some influence, but the design clearly didn't take anything from him. I think whoever was interviewed misunderstood and was only talking about where the name Vava came from. |

For regular stages, it replaces the "Goal" ring at the end, and for Emerald-hunting stages it spawns near the start if you get hurt to let you reset the stage, giving you another chance at completing the mission. |
