I would assume that the PS2 could handle more polygons, since it is capable of 150 million vertices per second, while Gamecube handles 90 million. I guess Nintendo was more technically resourceful when using less powerful components. Also, I did checked the PC version of that game. Yes, I do found a difference. Admittedly, I didn't checked that before considering there was no Cream model uploaded. |

I know it's a sprite based game, but some elements seems way too elaborated to just be sprites. I notably think of Beamos eye : it's a white ball which turn around the statue, and seems to lack a shading (strange for a sprite). There are tons of positions (maybe 200, it's very very detailed, more than everything else in the game including Ganon), and it has an illusion of relief. And last but not least : it shape is updated of a few px for each move. (Oh and also, but maybe it's just me : it seems to be nowhere in the dumped spritesheets) |
