He shows up maskless in Episode Shadow's "Eggman's Facility" level, and while his face is obscured, it is modeled. Is it possible for his maskless rig to be extracted from the game too or is that cutscene pre-rendered?

Aug 9, 2025 7:26 AM Centrixe the Dodo Game: Splatoon 3 Finally finished updating every single Idol with whatever was new! There are now 100+ models across all of the Idols alone. I had to basically re-rip everyone and their existing Splatfest costumes to add necessary UV Splits for their eyes and such, too. I'm sorry that this took so long... as crazy as life gets, time still flies - not to mention the many crashes I kept having inbetween these rips. But man, I feel like I can breathe a little easier again! You may notice that a majority of the newly added textures date back to 2024, but that's normal in this particular case. Similar to Ace Attorney, it's been a major project I've been working on as I go. Anyhoo, I just so happened to include a little surprise...

Within the Grand Fest files, there are official diffuse textures by Nintendo with all of the Idols' default colours already baked in! You can find 'em in the "_SAND_NormalWear" folders for each respective member. Hopefully, this will help those who aren't familiar with how the "tcl" and emission textures work.

Regarding weapons, I'll be merging the additional kits with their main weapons at some point - and will do so for future rips. I'd originally wanted the amount of Main Weapons to match the amount in-game once everything was done, but... ah, well.

I found the WagonU models in `lodging>ConvertTest`(might be the other way around), so that implies the WagonU files were converted from Wagon, which makes sense given the transfer robot models are under the filename `piki.szs`.

Completely off topic, but if the Wii U had a good amount of launch titles, and Nintendo didn't astronomically eff up the marketing, it could've been so much more influential... I'll never forgive Nintendo for going all "no more fun UI" with the Switch and Switch 2.
