I don't think GZDoom has a mirror feature like Blender does

@Spamzilla: ah, I assumed you'd be using it in Blender like most people. You'll have to find the setting in your game engine/shader/whatever to mirror the texture then. The instruction to do that doesn't get exported out of Blender since it's just a shader.

@Spamzilla; And it is for SURE the actual statue texture, and not the bandanna? Because it works for me.

I did set it to mirror and it had no affect on the final model

Spamzilla; did you make sure the texture is set to Mirror?

"uv is screwed up" and it's just how Nintendo did it so that the texture won't be as big.

@applecuckoo - I tried your shading setup and it only works in Blender. When I import it into my game it looks botched still. I think this is because the UV mapping is completely screwed up.

@Spamzilla: nah, you just need to make sure all the shaders (in this case, the bandana and Statue Mario himself) are set up like the following image:

if you can't see it, then the key changes are that 1: each Image Texture's third drop-down menu should be set to 'Mirror',
2: there should be a Color Attribute node with the text box set to whatever option is available
and 3: there should be a Mix Color node with the second drop down set to Multiply. The factor should be set to 1.

I tried this in Blender 3.5 and the graphics are botched

STAHP RIGT DERE!

Talk to the hand

Yes, it is.

wait statue Mario is a separate model?
If at least half of Mario's face isn't in the right place, you scaled the UVs incorrectly. If half of Mario's face is right but parts of it look bad, then you mirrored the texture incorrectly. You already know what the end result should look like, so keep trying until it looks right.
