Interesting fun fact, this is a "Kakashi," a Japanese scarecrow, and the face use is known as "Henohenomoheji" because it's made of the Japanese hiragana characters "he" for the eyebrows and mouth, "no" for the eyes, "mo" for the nose, and "ji" for the head surrounding the face. (Which isn't here in this case, so I suppose it's more of a "henohenomohe")
