This is one of my favorite Sonic models. I like how long his quills are and how lanky he is compared to other Sonic games.

Hey look the iblis trigger

Haha ha, one!

The model's pretty good all things considered. I just wish there was a way to connect both the face and the body to make it one whole mesh without screwing up the rigging and bones in the process
What I mean by this is... Basically, if you try to move the spine of the body for instance- The rest of the body (including the rest of the head that has the spikes and the eyes) will move with it. If you're trying to make renders of this thing it's a pain. So I hope there's a way to make the face and the head part of the body one thing completely separate from the rest of the actual body itself.

best sonic model lowkey

what fur texture

how was the fur texture made?

Also, this model is one of my favorite versions of Sonic.

This is.

This isn't the original 06 model, right?

Someone actually saved the older model on Wayback machine.

If you are going to add custom textures to it, put them in the custom edited area of the sonic series

Runners Sonic but it's the opposite

@JetTheFox96 Nope. You can atlas the textures, creating a single image on Blender.

this and knuckles are the most colorful models on the game

i love who ever did this

Uh yeah no. UV'S and textures would be messed up

This is cool, I just wish all his textures were in 1 image

Though depending on the context of the model you're doing this with, you may need to either "Set/Clear Inverse" so you can correct the position of the armature in relation to whatever bone you parent it to.
You can also merge the armatures if you'd prefer to only work with one armature, just need to edit the root bone of the face so it's parented to the head.
