so the design for the octolings had separated eyes back then

Oh noo D: Ah okay, I'll figure it out soon though

Hm? You asking me? I use (and always have been using) 3DS Max.

Hold on, do you edit your models in blender or max? Is editing the shaders the same in max or is it completely different?

Uploaded a quick fix for the eye polygons, since they were originally too close to the eyelids and caused problems with rendering. The spacing now matches the Inklings'.

I just said that's the way the textures are, they use a combination of a coloured TCL texture merged with the ALB.

I have the same problem. When I import models the textures are black or white, and when I try remapping them they don't match up.

and is it posible to get any off the in-game colouring textures?

@FatalitySonic2: Yes, that's normal. There is a lot of in-game colouring for their skin, eyes and such. You'll have to manipulate that either through shaders, or by editing the textures directly.
Edit : Not pure white or pure black. I must say "colorless". The rest are fine though.
For some reason, when I export the model to a 3D program (XNA Posing Studio), the textures are white (skin) or black (eye iris & hair). Is that normal ?

OMG
