@MicroSRB2: They are indeed very similar! The final Gateway and BJRR planets share a very similar layout, and this model is like halfway between them. It has all of the terrain features of the Gateway planet (rock path, heart-shaped rock pillar), but with the size and exact layout of the BJRR planet. Clearly, this used to be a single planet that the developers later split in two. In fact, this is how the planet looked in the E3 demo!

Judging by the colors and the shape difference, I'm pretty sure this is suppose to be Gateway Galaxy's hole planet.
