For now, you may just have to play around with color ramps and the like. I really hope we develop the tools someday to export the vertex colors too! Mario Galaxy and it's sequel used vertex colors pretty heavily for effects like ambient occlusion.

Maybe, but not with the tools I have. Regardless, the vertex colors do relatively little for this particular model without the shaders to make use of them.

@Peardian I get the shaders part but vertex colors should definitely be able to be exported from the game.

windows 98 can probably handle this

The model is gigantic in size. Try increasing the viewing range or reducing the scale of the model.

Uh, i don't know why but it seems the obj. file doesn't work for blender :/

The game uses shaders and vertex coloring to give the appearance you see in the game. Outside of the game, the model just looks like... that.
Why once downloaded, the sky (except the star) is colorless ?
